Nisa
Nature’s Adventures: Sing and move with Nisa
Nature and Animal Friends. Sing “I love me” and flap your
wings with |
Flambe Flamingo, curl in your
shell and sing “Home sweet home” with Tonya Turtle, and sing
“I move the sea” while swimming through the waves with
Serena Whale, among others. Learn the lesson that each
animal has come to teach us, including self-esteem, carrying
our homes with us, and “making waves” in our environment.
Nisa’s fun, bright costumes and lively, original songs keep
kids enjoying some high energy learning. Best for 3-6 years
old.

Beam
Me Up to the Amazon and the Andes: It’s so
Delightful to take an imaginary trip to the |
Peruvian Amazon. Learn about
the 7 directions and the cloth mesas that the Andean Shamans
use. Fly down as Condors, swim in the Amazon River, Rio
Madre de Dios, move as water drops in the water cycle, and
learn how to focus your intent to Cleanse the Waters of the
Earth. Then travel to Monkey Island to Dance and howl in
your own wild communicating in the Monkey Boogaloo. Sing “We
are One with Nature,” as we return home from our journey.

Create
with Nature through the Expressive Arts: After
creating a balanced and receptive energetic space using
indigenous traditions from North |
and South America, we use
movement and song, drumming and rattling, painting and
drawing to connect to a particular member of the animal,
plant, or mineral kingdom. Every discovery session has its
own unique quality depending on the needs of the
participants, and each time each participant learns
something new from his/her special being of Nature. The
session ends with a sharing among participants, and guidance
from Nisa, as to the qualities of, for example, a particular
animal that was danced, and how those qualities and
characteristics can help the person in gaining strength,
balance, and joy in life.
